Vasco is a senior product manager and an experienced entrepreneur and researcher. Responsible for launching companies like meta. (R&D provider for companies) and LINNK (tech incubator), worked for multinational companies like Fuksas (Rome) and JDS (Copenhagen). 

He has a strong Smart Cities research background for his PhD in fields such as IoT, Electric Mobility at MIT Media Lab (Boston), IAAC (Barcelona) and IST (Lisbon). 

Before Sensei, Vasco was supervising all the R&D and innovation strategy at META, including being responsible for the innovation pipeline ensuring the strategic decision-making of the design, research, and development of the company cutting edge products.

Co-founder and board member of International associations like Productized and Portuguese American Post-Graduate Society, and co-organizer of the Hack for Good Gulbenkian and MIT Energy. Awarded with an MIT Legatum Fellowship Grant and in 2013 won the prize for best scientific paper by USAID and the World Bank.
