CEO, DeinDeal AG


German born Malte Polzin has been living in Switzerland since 2004.

From 2004 to 2007, he was head of sales and marketing with the IT specialist retailer ARP Datacon AG. In 2007, he joined Competec Holding AG (with brands like Brack.ch and alltron.ch) as CMO where he launched the one deal a day site Daydeal.ch. From 2011 to 2013 he was CEO of Brack.ch, developing them to be one of Switzerland’s leading e-commerce plattform. In his most recent role was as a partner of Carpathia AG where he advised numerous e-business and e-commerce companies on strategic and conceptual issues relating to digital transformation.

In May 2017 he started as CEO at DeinDeal AG, a Swiss e-commerce company operating the websites DeinDeal and My-Store with 140 employees in Zurich and Geneva. The company sells fashion and home & living products, sport items as well as wine & gourmet but also offers local and international travel as well as diverse service and lifestyle couponing deals. DeinDeal is a subsidiary of the Swiss media corporation Ringer. In 2016, the fusion with Geneva’s online-outlet store My-Store was concluded. In his role, Malte Polzin is responsible to write the next chapters in the success story of DeinDeal AG as one united company.

In addition, he teaches at the university of Lucerne in the field of e-business.
